Smells like apples and oak. Clear golden light amber. Crisp dry apple flavor. This is an old standby.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from old backlog notes. Pours a clear golden/light amber color with nohead. The aroma and flavor have sweet apples, apple cider, mmaybe just ahint of skins but not much else.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Just a tick from the Winn Dixie. Sold as Hard Amber Cider now, new label. Possibly the worst cider I’ve ever had, though I guess it isn’t a bad drink. Dull golden color, lifeless. Apple nose but tart and sweet flavors are a bit overhwhelming, alcohol is prominent, quite winey really - and in the end I’m left with the feeling I’ve just drunk some bum wine. But, on the bright side, this would rate highly compared to some bum wines.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
331 ml bottle (yep that’s what it says). Pours clear orange-amber with a lasting spit of bubbles on top. Nose is apple, caramel, dry grass and hints of alcohol and flowery perfume. Tastes of slightly under-ripe apple with some spicy citric tartness, and a touch of earthy caramel. Light body finishes less sweet than most US ciders. Medium carbonation is pleasant.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle, thanks to cheap...I forgot to rate this a month ago or so. Pours a pale yellow with little lacing. Aroma of apples. Taste is apple, but not sour as I thought it would be. Refreshing, and not as sweet as typical ciders.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A bit of a sweet cloying aroma. Plain yellow color. This isn’t very good. Certainly sweet but without much to really like.

Pours clear golden, no head or lacing. Mild aroma of apple juice and cardboard, flavors of tart apples with a dry finish
OK, but not a fan of this one.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle. Decent transparent light amber hue. Really sweet apples on tongue. Thin pallent. A bit more substance than standard Hornsby. Macro version of Aengus

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
smell isn’t very strong...taste is a bit too sweet...finishes with a very sweet ending that is a bit too much...quite good...but sugar needs to be cut back a tad to make it even better...similar to angry orchard apple crisp but has a more subdued apple taste with more sugar

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a clear gold with a thin white ring for a head. The nose smells like a half and half mix of apple juice and apple cider. The flavor is sweet the whole way through with a little bit of tartness that tries to even things out but fails. Light body with average carbonation. Not complex and a bit too sweet for my taste.
