Bottle. Clear golden pour with a fizzy white head that immediately disapears. Tart and sour apple aroma is strong and rather nice. Flavor is a bit weak up front but has a pleasant apple tasting finish, not bad.

Bottle. Musty ripe apple aroma. Light amber with a small white head. Flavor is slightly fermented sweet apple juice. Light body, moderate carbonation. Not especially good.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2012 Poured from a bottle. Smells like apple juice. Clear, amber color. Little to no head. Tastes like mildly alcoholic apple juice. There really isn’t much detectable flavor at all - this is a very bland beverage. Goes down like water. Very drinkable. Not unpleasant, just completely unremarkable.

The aroma is of sweet apple juice. The appearance is dark straw to gold with a lot of fizz and a slight head. The flavor is of caramel and sweet apple juice. The body is medium to thin with a distinct tartness. With notes of alcohol and carbonation. Good not great.

Aroma is a strong, sweet apple.Appearance is a very light pear like color with a foam that vanishes quickly. Taste is a very sweet/tart apple taste with a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Overall, this is a pretty nice little drink with a pleasing apple taste. Not bad at all. Overall I’d give this a C rating.

sulawang (222) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 12, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2011 pours darker amber than the crisp apple (see photo), small quickly dissipating head, runny lacing. Smells of 100% filtered Sun-Rype apple juice on the nose. Taste is very clean apple juice with a minor alcohol bitterness in the backdrop. Finishes smooth, off-dry, and induces salivation. Carbonation is soft, controlled and crisp. Low-medium in complexity but makes up for it in drinkability and balance.

12oz bottle. Totally clear yellow color, bubbles on glass, minimal white head and thin web floating on the surface. Some lace. Lightly carbonated apple juice taste. Not too much oily mouthfeel (mild dryness). Light sweet taste, a bit on the tart side. Not bad, a pretty well-done cider compared to others I’ve tried.

Picked this up at Ralph’s because I hadn’t tried any ciders in a while. It’s bubbly it’s aroma doesn’t lie about the bitterness, which is okay for a cider. The aftertaste is a bit harsh but not unbearable. I would probably not go out of my way to get this again, but I’ve definitely had worse from the cider family.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. The aroma is granny smith and vanilla bean. The flavor is fructose sweetness, and more tart than most ciders. The palate is medium, lightly astringent, and sticky. Finishes fairly clean. Overall, this is a nice cider, with more flavor and heavier body than most.
