I love the Crisp Apple. It tastes like you’re actually biting into a crispy juicy sweet apple! It *is* sweet, but I like that. Feels like autumn when I drink a Hornsby!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pale golden yellow with active carbonation. Aroma of green apple. Taste is initially sweet with slight sparkling followed by a warm mellow sourness in the finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
pours a lighter shade of yellow, minimal head, minimal lacing. Same as above, lots of red apple on the nose and is very inviting. Taste is more of like biting into an unprocessed spartan/ambrosia red apple. Sweet, crisp, minor woodiness, and a slight sour tart and tangy bitter finish. More complex than the amber draft and more enjoyable.

355mL stolen from a random refrigerator. Wow- much better than expected. Taste like mulled apple cider with whipped cream- a nice slickness to the palate with no wateriness or urea sting. Sharp, juicy, tangy, nice vanilla and whipped cream addition. Not bad at all. Nose is a bit lackluster- fresh apples. Pour is spritzy- quickly diminishing weak head. But great straight out of the bottle at a party.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Totally clear yellow color, active-looking carbonation, minimal white head. Moderate, smooth carbonation. Some dryness. Some lace, nice, fresh crisp apple taste. Some juicy sweetness in there; apple skin. Not bad, a decent cider.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a quickly dissipating white head that leaves a ring. Aroma is ripe apples (what else? I’m still new to cider rating, so I don’t even know what else to expect here). Taste is sweet and tart. Has a somewhat unpleasant sulfury aftertaste. Carbonation is fairly soft (don’t know if that’s normal). Has a real thin body. Seems pretty mediocre.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Funny thing to rate for my 300th rating. Pours piss yellow with no head and tons of carbonation. Aroma is apples and sugar. The taste is extremely sweet and full of sugar with a hint of apple. Not unlike martinellis sparking cider. It tastes great but it doesn’t get any style point. I’d drink it if I was looking for something really sweet.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2013 Aroma is mushy apples and mild sweetness. The flavor is similar to the aroma with a mild chemical flavor and a tangy/sour finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Picked one up for the wife. Reminded me of a pale lager mixed with apple juice. Refreshing and not too bad for a cider.
