COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hornsby’s Crisp Hard Cider has an elegant golden hue with the aroma and bouquet reminiscent of sweet apple juice. The taste has rich apple notes and a slight effervescence making a well balanced mouth feel with a little tanginess.

We did a blind taste test with this cider and 4 other ciders to objectively determine which one is best. The other ciders were: Woodchuck, Angry Orchard, ACE, Hornsby’s, and Strongbow. You can check it out here: http://youtu.be/Dk02pKd09Q8

Strange apple aroma. Golden with no head. Taste is cidery and a little sweet.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hastily yellow with streams of carbonation rising a decent pace. The smell had apples in a slight sour sharp way and ending up becoming vinous. The taste was sweet and tart apple in a vinous sort of way. Bad tart apple/vinous aftertaste and super dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with no where close to having any good sessionability about it. I need water after this. Overall, wow, what a bad cider, just when I was warming up to some of these, I go and have this. I wouldn’t touch this with a ten foot pole.

Not a bad hard cider, but definitely not the best one I've had either. The taste almost reminds me of wine even though you can taste the apples in this.

Bottle. A- Apple juice, sweet. A- Golden color, clear liquid, no head. T- White wine, apples, apple juice, sweet, dry. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, dry crisp finish. O- A decent cider. A little dry white wine on the finish that was not that great, but still refreshing and a decent cider.

smells sweet like apples (cant smell the alcohol), has a nice yellowish gold color, crisp and sweet flavor with a bittersweet aftertaste.

Clear light gold with a nose of pure sugar and lots of fake green apple flavoring with a bit of green apple tartness. The taste is oversweet with sugar and sweet green apple tones. Just tastes fake and oversweet.

I’d drink it if it was free...unfortunately after trying one from my six pack I never wanted to drink it again. Has a horrid medicine taste to it. There was less of this taste when it was room temp, but I prefer to drink my hard cider cold...

Bottle. Sweet apple aroma. Clear gold, no head as standard for cider. Sweet tart commercial apple juice flavor. Light body, highly carbonated body. Just another apple alcopop.

Bottle: Pours clear, bubbly, orange-gold with a few, sparse, soapy head bubbles. Fresh, sweet apple and peel scent. Sweet, almost tart apple, sugar taste. Starts out bright and biting....but it’s just too sweet overall... Gets a little too clingy. Would like it much better if it was drier.
