Porter on a 90 degree day??? Spotted this in the store today and since I had never tried it figured why not. Dark brew with really nice tan head. Smells like brown sugar and bread. Taste is chocolate with a hint of vanilla. The name is spot on because this does taste alot like a chocolate brownie. Excellent brew at a reasonable price. Hope to find it in the store come October and when it is around 70 or less outside.

12oz bottle, I was surprised by the pour, not as dark as a porter. Aroma of cocca malts, smooth tasting beer. Not a big bite like some porter may have, but very enjoyable.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark brown with a ruby hue. Aroma of chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Dark chocolate with a hint of coffee and cinnamon. Insert where they get the "brownie" from. It’s almost like a brownie made with bittersweet chocolate. Pretty good.

Comes out of the tap a clear chestnut, not exactly what I expect from a porter, but the pale tan wheat head is thick and foamy and rather persistent. Malty, smoky aroma has an overtone of cinnamon and hints of bread and caramel. Malty, bready flavor has that cinnamon note plus woody hop and caramel notes. Doesn’t taste like a porter, tastes more like liquid cinnamon toast - but who cares, it’s tasty and enjoyable. Texture has average viscosity and fizz, and leaves a nice cinnamon toast finish.

[Bottle] Very deep brown color is almost black. Small but lasting beige head. Sweet cocoa powder, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg make appearances in the aroma. Very similar flavor profile. Body is slightly better than expected. Lingering roasted malt and mineral notes.

Light cola brown with a thin white head. Smells faintly like a porter with a sweet caramel note. Taste is a bit better, with some nutty notes, and a bit of cocoa, but I can’t say I get the brownie aspect of this

Bottle- Pours a dark cola brown color with an off white creamy head. Vanilla flavor with chocolate, and some roasted malt and hops. Does not remind me of a brownie. I cant really point out the cinnamon. Good easy light beer brown ale not really a porter with the low a%. Still good, but false advertising. No delicious brownie..

Pours dark brown with thick, creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate and roast malts, earthy hops, light ash, fig, and some faint vanilla. Flavor is light roast, chocolate milk, light earthy hop bitterness, light leather, and some faint dark fruit notes; smooth, creamy finish. Medium/full body and low carbonation
