Bottle shared by JoeMcPhee: Hazy golden pour with an off white film of head. Odd estery nose- pretty appleish and dusty- one dimensional. Has a very thin and seltzer-like palate. Vacant flavor- straw and watered down wheaty notes. If I tasted this blind I would have guessed it to be a failed adjunct lager- but as a Saison itís just nowhere near the style. One of the worst of the style Iíve had to date.

slightly hazy straw colour with a thin white cap. aroma is earthy, yeasty, light malt and some fruity hop. Body is a bit too light with some fizzy carbonation. Saison-esque but toned down a bit. nice soft malty body with some light lemony hop in the finish. One of the Horny Goat offerings I would revisit in the heat of the summer.

Sparkling yellow beer with a small bubbly head. Aromas of moderate maltiness and a distinct apricot smell. This beer was moderately sweet, but seemingy watery and fizzy.

Tap at the horny goat hideaway. The beer pours to a cloudy straw colored body with a nice white head. Decent but spotty lacing throughout the drink. The aroma had simple grains and subtle saison character. The flavors consisted of nice pale grain and subtle saison-like hopping and bready yeasts. Lemons and straw. I thought this beer was super simple to drink and much better than the ratings are giving it. Perhaps it doesnít translate well into bottles?

Pours a golden yellow with a thin white cover. Aroma is pathetic really, not sure how else to describe this. A saison? If you hadnít said that Iíd say for a fact it was a pale lager. Empty, some sweetness, corn, adjunct, grassy. Taste is again just...what? Címon, some sweetness in there and a light spice note that seems forced instead of estery but just so empty overall and nothing that should be in a saison. How is this 0.6% to style. 0.0% must be some garbage juice that is named saison.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a small white head. Aromas of wet grain, and faint smell of citrus. The flavor was rather, well I guess the best way to put it..."weird".Its had a wannabe wiess-like wheat flavor that turns into something confusing. It reminded me of Blue Moon, but worse. This one is obviously made for the masses. Thanks for sharing Firemn!

Pours a cloudy yellow color with small white head. Aroma has some citrus, malt and some spicy & grainy notes. Taste is dry, a little alcohol, some corn & wheat, lemon, very little sweetness. On the watery side. Interesting...this is the second Saison Iíve had and the style is odd to me...seems like itís a spiced wheat beer only they take away all the sweetness. It is refreshing but seems bland.

Bottle with twist off cap. Iím a little bitter and jaded after my last two "Horny Goat" experiences, so Iím not going into this with a truly open mind. Body is a hazy gold with a thin head and aromas are a little dubious... a bit of cloves and lemons, and in the background is a landfill-type aroma that Iím beginning to associate with the label. Still, the landfill scent is faint enough that there is some hope. Flavor is some form of redemption for the brand... it isnít great and has a distinctly adjunct side to it, but it does have a bit of niceness to it. A bit of lemon and some faint cloves, a honey sweetness... It is watery and washed out, but not awful... this is the best Goat.

bottle - poured piss yellow with small white head. Aroma - spices, fresh rolls and grassy notes. Flavor - watered down biscuit, corn taste. Semi sweet with some lemon. Palate - very thin bodied with little carbonation. Finish is dry and has grassy/lemon aftertaste. Overall - Drinkable beer with little flavor and is very boring. I probably would choose a domestic over this!!

Tried all three of horny goatís beers and all were equally as watery and boring. Pours a hazy yellow with minimal fizzy white head. Aroma sweet, a bit doughy and spicy. Flavor is watery, corny, a bit doughy, with a slight lemon essence and a dry finish. Overall, bad.
