Picked up a single 12-oz bottle via trade with JPDIPSO. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with a lumpy white head that has some nice retention and sticky lacing. Aroma of light yeast, some golden grain malt with wheat, some light pineapple and pear. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of coriander, some orange zest, golden grain malt with wheat, citrus seed and a hint of corn grits. Finish is semi-sweet with a light orange/peach aftertaste that quickly disappears. Almost closer to a sweet light wit than a saison.

Hazy to cloudy pale straw color with a tall creamy white head. Darest I say a lager-like aroma. Smells of grain, including corn and white bread yeast. Palate is fairly thick, mainly from a lack of life. The pour looks okay, but it seems to waste a lot of energy on it head. Lightly citric malt and just a hint of yeast. Not much in the spice department. Me thinkest that they took the citrus out of the wit and called it a saison. A light ale at best.

I like this very much. Very easy to drink. Very well balanced and smooth. No over powering flavors. Corriander and a slt orange hint.
