I like this very much. Very easy to drink. Very well balanced and smooth. No over powering flavors. Corriander and a slt orange hint.

12oz bottle. Hazy, cloudy, yellow-orange color. Steady, thin white head. This beer isnít world class, but it is one thing : a macro saison that manages to capture some of the essence of the style. Sure, it falls short a little bit in the malt category, a little too watery. Sure, the carbonation/effervescence canít compare to a Belgian. Negatives aside there is a funky lemony wheat flavor that is pretty likable, especially for a Horny Goat product. Creamy easy finish. OK.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle via trade with JPDIPSO. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with a lumpy white head that has some nice retention and sticky lacing. Aroma of light yeast, some golden grain malt with wheat, some light pineapple and pear. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of coriander, some orange zest, golden grain malt with wheat, citrus seed and a hint of corn grits. Finish is semi-sweet with a light orange/peach aftertaste that quickly disappears. Almost closer to a sweet light wit than a saison.

Tap at the horny goat hideaway. The beer pours to a cloudy straw colored body with a nice white head. Decent but spotty lacing throughout the drink. The aroma had simple grains and subtle saison character. The flavors consisted of nice pale grain and subtle saison-like hopping and bready yeasts. Lemons and straw. I thought this beer was super simple to drink and much better than the ratings are giving it. Perhaps it doesnít translate well into bottles?

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and produced some lacing. The aroma was dryish, musty, citric and a bit bready. The flavor was dry, musty, citric and tangy with a light bready, wheaty undertone. Medium dry musty and bready finish. Medium body. Ok.

Wife boght this one for me. Decent aroma with some spiey notes but mainley burnt barley oats. Hazy gold body with white head. Flavor wasnít hat bad had a zesty citrus to it along with some spice and carbination. A sweet spice dryness lingers a bit for aftertaste. Decent brew.

No bottling information.
Appearance: The body is typical of saisons Iíve seen with a cloudy straw color, the head is thin with poor retention though. This is decent looking.
Aroma: The aroma is weak, but smells decent. Thereís a slight citrus with a slight malt aroma, perhaps a touch of funk.
Taste: This is a bit watery, but one of the better tasting beers Iíve had by Horny Goat. Slight malts, a tad musky, with some dull citrus. Not really sweet or dry, not much flavor but itís not bad.
Palate: Medium bodied slightly hard carbonation.
Overall: This isnít bad, nor is it good. This would be okay as a bargain bin beer, but nothing more than $1 for a beer.

Poured clear and gold with lots of bubbles and a thin cap of white foam. The aroma was light spice and grass and corn. The flavor was sweet grass and corn with a bit of peppery spice towards the finish. Thin body and a bit overcarbonated.

12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass at Mackís Golden Pheasant in Elmhurst, IL.. Displayed a hazed light gold, almost straw color, with a modest amount of white foam that quickly diminished to a ring & film, and left some light dots & dashes of lacing. The aroma was pleasant, but somewhat non descript, with just light hints of breadiness, grain, spice, and mid-fruit as apricot/peach. The flavor was similar, adding low hop bitterness, very light malt, a light body, and lively effervescence that saved it from becoming thin and watery. By no means ground breaking, but decently sessionable, with my first impression also as one of a light Blonde Ale.
