Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a small white head. Aromas of wet grain, and faint smell of citrus. The flavor was rather, well I guess the best way to put it..."weird".Its had a wannabe wiess-like wheat flavor that turns into something confusing. It reminded me of Blue Moon, but worse. This one is obviously made for the masses. Thanks for sharing Firemn!

Bottle. Slightly hazy light yellow pour with a small white head. Slight spice in the nose. Thin palate. Taste is watery and some grain and spice. Not very exciting.

12 oz bottle. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with a lumpy white head that has some nice retention and sticky lacing. Aroma of light yeast, some golden grain malt with wheat, some light pineapple and pear. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of coriander, some orange zest, golden grain malt with wheat, citrus seed and a hint of corn grits. Finish is semi-sweet with a light orange/peach aftertaste that quickly disappears. A rather weak offering.

In a bar, bottle. Pours a hazy yellow. Inch thick head quickly shrinks. Aroma is apricot, belgian yeast, and bread. Taste is mild and watery for the style. It works because budweiser and miller lite at my other options, otherwise It wouldn’t.

Originally reviewed: 11/2/09. Poured into my pint glass. Pours a hazy very-pale yellow with a thin white head on top. Disappears to a sheet on top. Leave no lace. Smells of grains, buttered corn, and a splash of lemon zest. Moderate body with a nice carbonation kick with each sip. Carbo. level is medium/high. Now the flavor is a conundrum. This tastes exactly what a crisp American lager would taste like, a good one at that. Plenty of buttery grains in the mouth, some light citrus, and a light pop of bitterness on the finish. If this was labeled as a lager, I would rate it a ’B’ minimum, but as a Saison, this is way off. I can taste very light yeast and funk in the aftertaste, but it is so faint, it may be my imagination. This one needs some work, or at least a re-styling.

12oz bottle. Rating #41. Slightly hazy light gold pour with a white head. Light grain aroma, mild fruitiness and some bread. Mild flavor, a very small amount of bitterness, more grain, not much of a yeast presence. Tastes more like a blonde ale. (2301)

UPDATED: APR 12, 2012 Appearance is a small white head with clear yellow. Aroma is a very weak pale malt. Taste is nearly nonexistant, but is at least drinkable. Overall just not a great brew.

12 ounce bottle that poured a hazy yellow. Aroma of some cloves, lemon, and a touch of hops. Flavor is much the same with some honey, not the best saison I’ve had, but would do in a pinch.

Pretty consistent with other Horny Goat beverages: not a lot there. Pours to a thin head and a light yellow color. Little carbonation and not much to smell besides citrus. The finish is quick, lemony and not very pleasant. In total, not a whole lot to like.

Pours a hazy yellow. Tastes and smells more like a pale ale than a saison. Classification issues aside, it tastes pretty decent.

In contrast to my previous rating, I have a freshly poured glass of "Exposed Saison" right in front of me. And now I will take a sip... Sorry, but no.
