COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Traditional Pale Ale brewed with malted Two-Row American malted barley and an inclusion of roasted caramel. Hopped Up ’n Horny is craft brewed using generous amounts of American Cascade Hops; both in a brew kettle and a dry hop in an aging tank. If you don’t get hopped up by this great ale, nothing will get your juices flowing.

5/15/10. 12oz bottle. The aroma is malty caramel and the flavor is malt, honey, and biscuits with some hop bitterness but not hop flavor or much else going on.

Pale amber pour with a thick white head. The nose is a bit sweet and lightly malty with a bit of spicy hoppiness. A touch of light lemon peel and some orange as well. Herbal/woody spiciness behind the fairly spiciness maltiness. The beer is fresh enough but it’s just as boring as hell. It’s not really bad, it’s just bland.

Pours orange with white head, aroma is some floral and grassy hops. Taste up front is grass, pine, and floral hops with a slight bready malt base with a slightly bitter finish. Not bad, but nothing too good about it.

Bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey. Slightly hazy orangeish pour with a foamy head. A pretty standard middle of the road APA. A bit of toasty malt and citrus hops. Thanks Bill!

12 oz bottle with a twist off cap. Smell is dully hoppy and citrus, not sharp and floral. I was expecting some variation of a wheat beer for some reason but no. Pour is like a pale lager with a thin creamy head that is unmeasurable in thickness. Yes, quite hoppy, nearing mild ipa status but never quite gets there. Bitter medicinal finish is almost rude but not really. Nearly objectional to a lager lover on the palate. Eh. Finish is medium hoppy and lingers for a significant amount of time.

Bottle shared by JoeMcPhee: Orange pour with a slight haziness and a white film of head. Muted and oxidized hops are present in the aroma- seems like they were once fresh and citrusy. Thin bodied with a very dull and watery flavor. Very mild biscuity pale malts and muted hops. Very retrained and mild. Tastes like an average APA 50/50 with water. Very, very boring.

gold pour with a thin white head. aroma is musty wet cardboard malt. (perhaps something of a house character for them?) Some caramel sweetness coming through. Light herbal hop. Flavour continues with that kind of wet cardboard yeasty/maltiness. caramel sweetness, and a light to medium herbal bitterness in the finish.

Caramel orange, lumpy whitish foam. Metallic herbal hoppiness, light sweet aroma. Taste is some toast and caramel, herbal, light pine hops, metal.

Blah. A boring APA. Aroma was weak. Light malt and honey. Pour was a decent dark gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was very boring. All honey and roasted caramel with no hoppiness to balance out all the sweet malt. Medium carbonation and a very sticky sweet aftertaste. Nothing great here.

Who says this is light amber or clear amber?? Mine poured a darker yellow with an ever so slightly off white head. Nose of hops and cookie dough. Creamy, malty, and a bit hopped up on the palate. Not as hoppy and bitter as expected, but not too flat. A bit of a watery finish. Like a light version of Dales Pale Ale.
