2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 fauxpunker (76) - Florence, Kentucky, USA - NOV 11, 2012UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 Bottle. Weak for an IPA. The hop aroma is there, but something "off" as well. It’s bitter, yeah, but it’s missing something. No real depth. Easily drinkable, but nothing exciting.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Jesterdeal (1045) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Aroma of vinegar, rotting lemon, and apricot. Pours perfect amber with a small but thick foamy head. Taste is revolting. Skunky lemon malt, bitter pine, vinegar and slight birds of paradise grain. In general, it tastes like a hoppy version of smidthwicks. Thank goodness this is fresh.
1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 kramer (3880) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 29, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orangish body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin wispy film. The nose is pretty decent, a moderate but not overly aggressive citrusy hop note with some caramel malt below. Maybe a touch too much sweetness on the nose actually. The flavor kind of bears out my instinct that there is way too much sweetness in here. I kinda thought the ratings looked real low when I smelled it, but now I see. Rather sweet with tons of crystal malt and instant iced tea flavor. Probably my least favorite beer is an IPA with loads of crystal malt. It just doesn’t belong in an IPA at all. Medium bodied and slightly sticky with fizzy carbonation. Long lingering sweet finish. Not really a poorly made beer, just a terribly designed beer.
3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 firefly765 (25) - - APR 22, 2013
Pours a straw yellow with minimal head. Very nice grape fruity aroma. Not much head retention. Unpleasant bitter aftertaste. A well below average IPA.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 vomit (151) - Michigan, USA - APR 10, 2013
UPDATED: APR 18, 2013 I usually like IPAs, and I usually like Goats. And I certainly don’t mind being horny if there is satiation at hand, but I digress. This stuff----well not bottom feeding swill like Coors-----will not satisfy the longing in your soul like Blatz well. So, take that.....stuff it in your pipe and smoke it. Or not.

Definitely one of my favorite brews. I found the flavor of the beer to be as intriguing as it’s packaging. Glad to have stumbled upon this one and recommend it to anyone with a hardened palate.

Aroma is sweetish malts, light citrus and spices/grit. The flavor is bubble gum, citrus, malts and a tangy/tart finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Arayaga2 (1623) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2013
This bottle claims to be an IPA at 6.4%, Apricot colored with citrus and ginger hop notes. Taste is muted and muddled, but has pleasant lemongrass / fruitloop hop flavors in the background throughout. $2/12oz
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 keanex (786) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - FEB 28, 2013
No date, 0532 printed on the neck, I hope that doesn’t mean this is from the 53rd day of 2012.
Appearance: The body is a nice hue of amber, leaning lighter than some of the darker colored pale ales, with good clarity. The head is dense but on the short side, it settles to a thin coating and a rather thick ring.
Aroma: The aroma is very restrained with only a slight citrus hop presence and a light malt sweetness with a touch of caramel. It’s not offensive, but it doesn’t smell like much.
Taste: Much like the aroma this is very bland, perhaps a bit watery. Light caramel, some toasted presence, and a slight hop presence, but very bland, not bad, just bland.
Palate: Light bodied with good amounts of carbonation leaning a touch sharp.
Overall: This isn’t a bad beer, I say that fully disregarding the style. This would be a decent $5-$6 six pack for a light flavored and highly drinkable beer for a hot Summer day. Compared to other pale ales though this just falls flat.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tricountybeer (167) - Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Pours orange with white head, aroma is some floral and grassy hops. Taste up front is grass, pine, and floral hops with a slight bread malt base with a slightly bitter finish.

From notes. A standout apa. Loads of hops and a lot of roasted malt. I’ll drink this one again.
