0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 crossovert (2791) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 14, 2011
12 oz twist off.
It pours a clearish amber with a fizzy white head.
It doesn’t have a smell.
It tastes like bad cornbread.
The mouthfeel is thin and watery.
Drinkability is bad, glad I only have 1 bottle.
This is an oktoberfest? I almost mistakened it for Natty Light Oktoberfest Edition.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ughsmash (5836) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 8, 2011
Bottled. Poured a healthy shade of medium orange with a dense beige head.. actually looked quite good. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted bready and honey notes.. touches of vanilla accented, along with the faintest earthy hops.. entirely non-offensive and quite pleasant. The flavor found more of the honey and some redder fruits at the core.. quasi-metallic sourness was pervasive.. tangy through the finish.. not bad, but probably better a few months ago. Light-bodied but slow-moving across the palate due to higher carbonation and residual sugars.. OK feel. This was better than expected.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 cbfobes (1047) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear amber with a thin head and limited lacing through the glass, the aroma is of slight malt, caramel and a hint of metal to finish it off, the flavor is boring and has a slight hop presence in the finish mixed in with the malt and grain, overall I would pass on this if you have the chance to pick it up, not really worth it.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 esjaygee (2599) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 21, 2011
Clear amber with a thin off-white head that fades quickly leaving minimal lacing, Aroma of grains, pale malt, grassy hops and corn. Taste of pale toasted malts, light caramel and mild hops. An off flavor is present, but I can’t quite pinpoint it. Mouth feel is a tad oily. Not as bad as some of their other offerings, but not a great Oktoberfest.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Skyview (4880) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - OCT 11, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 Picked up 12-oz bottle from Discount Liquors in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates and leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain and adjunct malt, grassy hops, some ale yeast and a touch of corn. Taste is light to medium bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of bar soap, grassy hops and a hint of caramel malt. Finish is semi-dry with a corn meal, caramel malt and more grassy hops that slowly disappears. It’s okay for an average amber ale, but missing much of the Oktoberfest lager yeast and sweet caramel flavors I am used to in both Munich and Vienna style oktoberfests.
