Appearance: The body is a bit cloudy, but appears a burnished copper with garnet hues, it’s an odd color. The head is thin and light tan, poor retention.
Aroma: A touch of fruit, maybe apples, with a slight malt base behind it.
Taste: The flavor is muddled, very hard to discern anything. I pick up some cherry flavor on the finish, but that’s it.
Palate: Medium bodied, crisp carbonation.
Overall: I don’t know what happened here, but this isn’t even worth finishing.

12oz twist-off bottle. Pours light brown color, thin bright white fizz. Musty aroma, smells like an old bottle. Hints of black cherry. Watery textured. Tastes of malt and water. Very bland. (3604)

amber in color, thin head. sweet caramel aroma and some bread thrown in for good measure. taste follows suit of the aroma.

How about the marketing gimmick in the name? Now this is red vixen but it really is not quite red, just red as many beers on here called red; wtd? Peculiar mild floral olfactory. How about how the V and the N both form a v for viexen? Yes, does come across like a micro brew and i swear it has some tart cherry in there, perhaps this is where the red comes from? Becomes almost cloying but not quite on deh finsh. Drinkable. Yeah, the name of this says it all - its a sinusoidal of the times mon amee. Almost makes the gag reflex kick in but in a godd way, eh?

12 oz bottle. The best of the Horny Goat Variety Pack. Amber to bronze in color. Smallish off-white head. Sweet, slightly putrid wet grain aromas.Some floral hops in the background, Malt sweetness carries through all the way to the linger. Just a bit of hops bitterness but not too much.

Smells of malt as you open the bottle. I like to enjoy this beer with a meal, especially good with vegetables. The taste really comes out when you enjoy this beer with a meal.

12 ounce bottle that poured a cloudy golden amber color, aromas of feint caramel, cereal, and some sweet malt. Flavor is same as aroma, but with some light fruit added in, an ok beer over all.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden color, lightly hazy, and a white head. Aromas and tastes of not much. Toasty, grains, and some malts.

Appearance is a medium white head with a clear amber. Aroma is some weak malts. Taste is some bready malt. Overall not very impressive.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.
