12oz bottle. Poured a golden color, lightly hazy, and a white head. Aromas and tastes of not much. Toasty, grains, and some malts.

Bottled. Poured crystal-clear light orange with a fairly creamy cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft, very sweet caramel, toffee, and redder fruits with light accents of earth and vanilla.. very candy like. The flavor found sweet caramel, bready notes, and vanilla at the core with a sharp honey bite and hard to place bitterness around.. finished a touch spicy and hot. Light-bodied and very sweet overall on the palate.. the bitterness wasn’t so complementary. Drinkable, but not much more.

I wish i wasn’t reviewing another beer form this putrid company but here I am. Brown twist-off bottle. It pours actually a not bad appearance. It is a hazy orange with a thick, foamy white head that has some decent retention and leaves some nice lacing. The smell is stale breadcrust and a hint of hops, mostly herbal and lemony. The flavor is tart, bready tasting water. It is a cringe worthy taste. There are some hops in there that make it even more awkward. The carbonation is high. There is an odd tanginess as noted that just makes it odd. Skip. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-04-2010 21:37:30

Bottle. Washed out orange pour. Small white head. Stale malt aroma with a hint of apple. Bland palate. Not great at all.

Skyview (5150) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - NOV 27, 2009
On draught at the Horny Hideaway just south of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pours a clear light copper colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring but some spotty lacing and plenty of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is almost non existence. Maybe a touch of caramel malt and floral hops. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, a hint of floral hops, just barely a detection of toffee and light corn. Finish is light, crisp with a short soft caramel aftertaste that disappears to a clean cut flavor. Goes well with the nacho cheese chips at the brewpub.

Amber to bronze in color. Smallish off-white head. Sweet, slightly putrid wet grain aromas. Perhaps a bit of floral hops in the background, but I don’t want to investigate much further. Light sweet grainy start. Actually rather malt. Sweetness carries through all the way to the linger. Just a bit of hops bitterness but not enough for any balancing.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4763) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a small beige head that produced a little lacing. The aroma was lightly nutty and malty with a faint hint of fruit. The flavor was bitter, tangy, malty and nutty with faint fruit underneath. The finish was medium length with a mild bit of caramel and fruit lingering. Medium body. Ok.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color. Steady, fluffy off-white head. Subdued malty, sweet aroma. I’m not the biggest Red/Amber/Vienna fan, but I found this one drinkable enough. The watery mouthfeel helps it remain drinkable and smooth. There are some light vanilla tones. Standard session beer territory, just clean enough to be acceptable. Mild soapy hop balance. OK, but not on par with the rest of the brewing world.

12oz twist-off bottle. Pours light brown color, thin bright white fizz. Musty aroma, smells like an old bottle. Hints of black cherry. Watery textured. Tastes of malt and water. Very bland. (3604)

How about the marketing gimmick in the name? Now this is red vixen but it really is not quite red, just red as many beers on here called red; wtd? Peculiar mild floral olfactory. How about how the V and the N both form a v for viexen? Yes, does come across like a micro brew and i swear it has some tart cherry in there, perhaps this is where the red comes from? Becomes almost cloying but not quite on deh finsh. Drinkable. Yeah, the name of this says it all - its a sinusoidal of the times mon amee. Almost makes the gag reflex kick in but in a godd way, eh?
