Smells of malt as you open the bottle. I like to enjoy this beer with a meal, especially good with vegetables. The taste really comes out when you enjoy this beer with a meal.

Bottle from the make your own 6 pack section of Beer World Kingston, NY. Yeah....I fell for it. Glowing deep iced tea amber in the Vienna that I stole from a bar in Vienna in 1992. Thin film of a beige head that clings to interior of glass like a screaming extra in sharknado clings to something in terror before the sharks rip them to shreds. Nose of malts with a hint of citrus. Body is ephemeral as expected. Hooray. Someone in Wisconsin paid attention in school! No discernible finish change. A nice post lunch work break brew.

12 oz bottle. The best of the Horny Goat Variety Pack. Amber to bronze in color. Smallish off-white head. Sweet, slightly putrid wet grain aromas. Some floral hops in the background, Malt sweetness carries through all the way to the linger. Just a bit of hops bitterness but not too much.

Bottle. Red/brown pour. Smells of sweet malt and slight citrus. Malty on the front with a little hops on the finish. Pretty good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at the Horny Hideaway just south of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pours a clear light copper colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring but some spotty lacing and plenty of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is almost non existence. Maybe a touch of caramel malt and floral hops. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, a hint of floral hops, just barely a detection of toffee and light corn. Finish is light, crisp with a short soft caramel aftertaste that disappears to a clean cut flavor. Goes well with the nacho cheese chips at the brewpub.

Draft at Yester Years, West Allis, WI. Looks more like a cloudy amber. There’s a thin draft head in the shaker glass. A decent amber smell but with a note of salt, as my nose reads it. The server immediately assured me they do clean their lines regularly. Taste is nice, though. A basic amber with no surprises, except for a slight fruitiness, perhaps from a warmer ferment. A sharp hop tickle on the sides of my tongue. Raspberry notes give it more of a blonde ale character.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color. Steady, fluffy off-white head. Subdued malty, sweet aroma. I’m not the biggest Red/Amber/Vienna fan, but I found this one drinkable enough. The watery mouthfeel helps it remain drinkable and smooth. There are some light vanilla tones. Standard session beer territory, just clean enough to be acceptable. Mild soapy hop balance. OK, but not on par with the rest of the brewing world.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4546) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a small beige head that produced a little lacing. The aroma was lightly nutty and malty with a faint hint of fruit. The flavor was bitter, tangy, malty and nutty with faint fruit underneath. The finish was medium length with a mild bit of caramel and fruit lingering. Medium body. Ok.

Amber colored, with a small head. Light, fruity taste - almost tastes like a fruit beer. I detected cherry or raspberry notes. Very light on bitterness.

12 ounce bottle that poured a cloudy golden amber color, aromas of feint caramel, cereal, and some sweet malt. Flavor is same as aroma, but with some light fruit added in, an ok beer over all.
