Bottle. Thin dark brown pour - confusing. Nose of roasted malt and a little lactose. Thin palate for the style. Taste is more malt and nut than a milk stout. Not bad, just seems to be misclassified a bit. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Stacked!?,I think they mistook her for her twin sister "Two Backs" 1FastSTi (2591), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

The beer pours to a deep coffee-looking body with an off-white head. The aroma is subtle milk chocolate with definite lactose sugars. Slight coffee. The flavors consisted of a light chocolate roasted malt, coffee, and subtle hops. Lactose sugars. The palate was a little thin, but it was really easy to drink. For a $2 happy-hour beer, it is really damned good. Perhaps people need to re-think this brewery? Not sure if they’re making the tap based beers at the hideaway, but there is a brewery setup here. esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Reddish brown with a large frothy tan topper. Aroma of mildly skunked noble hops, grains, mild nuts and perfumed malt. Color me confused, more like an ADL than a Milk Stout, someone needs to get these guys a style guide for all their beers. Taste of noble hops, grains, malt and mild dark malts, not very good. Thin body and astringent finish. Ugh. Skyview (4128), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Inauguration batch! On draught at the Horny Hideaway in southern Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Stopped at the brewpub after their opening by three weeks. Pours a clear, yet average brown colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring and carbonation bubbles. Aroma is light with a hint of toasted dark malt, floral hops, just a whisper of coffee and chocolate. Taste is light bodied, some extra carbonation compared to most other stouts, with flavors of roasted dark brown ale malt, a hint of floral hops and some coffee. Finish is a tad watery with some metallic carbonation texture that quickly disappears with a crisp aftertaste. Would have scored a little higher if this were a brown ale but knowing the Milwaukee blue collar beer drinkers palate, this light stout will do fine for the community. Light malt and grain start. Some darker malts work their way in. Slightly acidic, but not in a lactic way.Vapid and inciped in oh so many ways.
