Light orange-amber coloured. Small head, wont hold. Smell isn’t to bad, earhty, spiced, malts, yeast. Taste is sweet, malty, spiced, not to bad. Expected worse.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 madmitch76 (5151) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2010
7th March 2010. Bought this before we realised it was an InBev delight. Actually it’s not too bad. Clear amber beer, small white head. Smells like a sweet tripel. Soft palate - a little dry. Some watered down tripel sweet maltyness. Finishes with more watery flavours but a paradoxical dry palate.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 nate2g (1548) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2010
Bottle. Poured darkish golden with a stable white head. Belgian spice on the nose and light citrus as well in flavour. Low ester character and it’s all very dull. Very thin on the palate. Run of the mill Belgian ale. Poorly balanced. Forgettable. Lacking ’Horse’ that’s the problem.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 harrisoni (9588) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2010
Bottle at La Fleur en Papier Dore. Clear dark brown beer with lasting beige head. Fairly standard Belgian ale that lacks flavour and character without there actually being anything wrong with it. Some estery yeast.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 mike1977ok (1023) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 10, 2009
Dark blond colour. The texture is rather thin and watery the flavour is quite well balanced, not too bitter or sweet but it lacks depth.
