my notes say "swill all the way corn and stuff. touch of lemon, but more like cleaning solvent than real lemon." lol. well i hope that sums it up? though i feel mike would have loved this one. :)

12 oz Bottle: Pours a clear golden color with a white head that diminshes rather quickly into nice lacing. This beer reminds me more of a "Macro" instead of a "Micro." Has hints of lemon in the flavor. Not a great brew but better than Bud and Miller. Worth the purchase just to keep the bottle.

Noogfest 2006. The body was light yellow with a thin white head. The aroma was hay, apples and dried apricots. The taste club soda with a hint of corn. A little sour. Strange, but not undrinkable.

Shag (2283) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - MAY 24, 2006
A clear yellow appearance. The aroma and flavor seem to be almost non existent, possibly due to the onsluaght of barley wines, impy stouts, and other belgians previously sampled at Noogfest. Some corny and lemon notes are present. A step up from horse piss. Heeee! Haaaaaw!

Pours yellow like the name implies with a slight haze. This is just another corny lager perhaps most impressive in the fact that you can’t tell much difference from many of the macro lagers.

From a twelve ounce bottle purchased at "Liquor Direct" in Covington, Kentucky. This one poured a pale, bubbly yellow with a faint aroma of cereal and hops. Not A great beer, this one tastes (true to its name) grassy and assy.

I’m doing my best to not allow the name of this beer to influence my rating. Pours clear yellow with a thin, fizzy fully receding white head. Aroma of bready lager yeast, herbal noble hops. I don’t smell any of the off flavors that the other raters mention, smells very ’clean’ to me. Taste is watery lager, unoffensive, but also a bit bland. A bit of corn to round things out, a slight amount of toasties. Mouthfeel initially feels full bodied but disappears to present a thin bodied beer with persistant vigorous carbonation. It would appear that this beer is trying to convert BMC drinkers into craft brew, but I don’t think calling the beer horse piss helps them market this product.

Bottle from Party Source, KY. Poured clear light amber with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light hoppy citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a small bitter finish of short duration.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2006 Bottle thanks to the ever so generous Kevin. For once, there is a beer worthy of its name. Faint cheap lager aroma. Pours urine color (ha ha ) with a foamy white head. Malty flavor with notes of cream corn and lemon. However, I’d drink this over any BMC pale lager. The bottle label is hilarious. It’s going in my office!

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2006 viking version dark honey color with minimal off white head. sweet caramel and tomato aroma with a bit of stale butterscotch. sticky malt flavor that is stale. definite cardboard on the back of my tongue. watered down fat tire taste, not good. ar4 ap3 fl3 pal3 ov7 Blue grass horse piss beer I’m returning to the scene of the crime. The last time I had this it was brewed by Viking and I did not care for it. This version is brewed under license to blue grass brewing. It has only been on the shelves a week or two at most so I know it is fresh. I haven’t opened it yet, so lets see. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Horrible cheap lager aroma that smells like adjunct and mildewed lemons. Grainy flavor with a bitter carbonation finish. This tastes like husks. It’s still crap, but without the tomato flavor Viking had. Ap-3 ar-3 tas-3 pal-2 ov-7
