Am I the only one who didn’t despise this beer?? Thanks to phaleslu for this one. Pours clear gold with a white head. This horsey has some carbonation (for what it claims to be). Nose is corn, bread, lager, grain, and hay. Flavor is similar. While it is no beer to build a brewery on, it certainly exceeded my expectations.

12 oz. bottle from Sergio’s. Of all the great beers that Sergio’s has, the only reason I got this one was because I wanted to try a beer from Louisville, the city I grew up in (or near anyway). Louisville, you are not impressing me right now. This isn’t even good for a bland light lager. At least the name makes no bones about what you’re drinking. Having never tried actual horse piss, I can now imagine what it must taste like.

courtesy of ibrew2or3 pours golden, light white head. aroma, grassy, grainy, corn sweetness, smells like a haystack and some added hops. Malts is well in the background. flavors, wheat, malty, hops and grainy palate. Overall this one is very hay oriented with wheat mouthfeel and sweetness. Hop presence is mild on the low end with mostly corn like flavors. Not as horrible as described or maybe it was attenuated by all the bourbon beers drank before this one.

I have heard that this is the same as the BBC gold, but I am not certain. Pours pale gold with a big white head. Aroma is grassy light malts. Flavor is light grassy malts, with not much going on. I like BBC, so I am glad this beer is a joke to them and hope they make money off the people that buy it is a gag gift. Amazing how many light beer drinkers come back saying how much the like it too.

12 oz. bottle from Party Town. Pours a clear pale gold color with a small white head that leaves some light spotty lacing behind. Aroma of sweet malts, corn, straw, and hops. Flavor is also sweet and corny, with malts, hops, grass, and straw. Grainy, corny finish. Light bodied, with light-medium carbonation and a thin palate. This one doesn’t have a lot going for it aside from the novelty of the name and label. Since I’m the 99th person to rate this, I’ll go ahead and be the 99th person who’s either said or thought, "Wow, this is a fairly accurate label." While that might be a little harsh, if I’m looking for this style in this area, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, one of the best in class, is available year-round for about the same price.

Aroma of spruce and hops. Initial watery taste, followed by a slight citrus, with a hoppy finish. Not impressed with this brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, light yellow body with a small white head. The aroma is moderately sweet cornflake cereal aroma with vague notes of malt and hops. The flavor shows light malt character with a light cornflake sweetness. Hints of citrus and light hop flavor and bitterness, that all seem to be covered in dust. Not much to the finish as this beer disappeared which may be a good thing. Watery mouthfeel and thin-bodied. This is the first time I will use the now famous, "It is what it is" for a beer. The label may be the best warning label going today.
