Ok folks do I really need to waste your time describing this beer? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Thanks, I think, to my brother in law for bringing me some beer from Lexington on his last visit.
Pours apple juice in color with a bubbly head that recedes very rapidly. Smell is very lager like. Somewhat skunky and biscuity. Taste is very thin, light with almost no flavor whatsoever. This is colored water with carbonation. No beer flavors to be had at all. Not sure what the point of this beer is, but with a name like Horse Piss, they couldn’t have been too serious about it.

(From 4 pack purchased at the Liquor Barn in Louisville, KY) 12 oz bottle poured into shaker- poured transparent ... well, mildly dehydrated person piss color with a wafer thin white head. Aroma of grass and corn. Hits the mouth with a thin body, the corn is in the background but the malt is very weak, finish is crisp. On a hot Texas day with friends at a BBQ, this gag beer actually helped with the heat, and alot of people liked it, go figure.

Is this for real? The one good thing about this beer is that with a name like "Horse Piss", you don’t really get into it expecting much. However, I can say that it probably does taste better than actual horse piss...but I’d still be interested to see the results of a blind taste test. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Nothing about the appearance makes me want to get even remotely involved with this beer. The aroma doesn’t do much either. The taste is of stale corn flakes cereal. An awkward sweetness. Has basically no bitterness at all. Fortunately, no long lasting after taste.

Bottle pours out a yellow topped with a white head. Aroma of grass and wheat. I would thank a normal by product of a horse??? Tast pretty much the same. But hey i had to pick up a bottle.

12oz bottle. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is semi-sweet with a mineral layer. Actually smells fine, even quenching. The flavor is fair. Seems to land somewhere between a golden ale and lager (now that I see dortmunder I see why). There is a touch of sweetness but it does not seem out of place. Very wet and thin body. Now really people, other than the name, is this beer really as bad as all that. I think reviews of this beer are definitely the result of the name (but I guess that’s what you get for calling it horse piss).

Bottle: Pours a color that the name implies, smells grassey, dry, and wheaty. Flavor is the same. Dry, dusty, grassey, and lagerish. It’s not that bad... oh, wait... yes, it is.
