Simple, transparent, nearly flavorless. Body is medium to light, fizzles away at the end. Watery and bland, stale and tastes of wet notebook paper. Pretty terrible, big surprise. Pouring a slightly hazed, pale yellow body with a frothy white head, it smelled of steamed grasses and cabbages and, perhaps even, as MrsFrankenkity noted, a touch of armpit. Slendid for a gueuze, I know, but not quite right for a Dortmunder. The nose carried over to the taste along with the suggestions of a generic sweet malt and a light zinc bitterness. Ah, the adventures of beer tasting......

The nose is toasty and corny with some light adjunct, light malt and a little too little hop. No yeast or hops are there in the flavor. Mellow bland flavor. Some faint grass, rubber and husk. They certainly hit their mark. Tmoney99 (4718), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured clear light amber with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light hoppy citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a small bitter finish of short duration. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
