Appearance: pours with a small beige head, beer is a light bronze head, clear Aroma: oddly enough the first thing I smell is sweetness, chillies is there too, Taste: maple syrup is subtle but very noticeable, a subtle spice shows itself as well Palate: average carbonation, heavy mouthfeel, sweet and spicy aftertaste Overall: the sweetest chili beer I've had, the spice is more behind the sweetness but noticeable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle. Pours an murky dirty gold with a moderate fizzy white head that evaporates almost instantly like a glass of ginger ale. Pleasant aroma of mild malt along with some spicy pepper. The flavor is malt followed by some jalapeno heat. The heat is not overpowering, which is a good thing considering the malt base is a bit restrained. On the lighter side of medium bodied.

Location: Sampled at TapNY, 4/26/14

Aroma: The nose is somewhat peppery, with a clean malty backing
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, with some pepper on a lighter, malty base beer
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an alright feel, and a clean, spicy finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an alright example of the style. It isn’t overly peppery and the underlying beer is just fine. Makes for a plenty decent beer.

This beer is my favorite pepper beer of all of the ones I've had so far. It smells wonderfully fruity. Initial taste is fruity sweetness that transitions to a pleasant spiciness on the back of the throat. Wonderfully balanced for what it is.
