COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This style of beer is classified in the "Fruit Beer" category. The focus is obviously on the Maple Syrup used in the brewing process. Our version uses 100% pure Maple Syrup in ample quantity, thus imparting a dark rich amber color and very high alcohol content...our highest yet at 7.0% ABV.

Apple and caramel aroma. Rather light in color with smallish head and no lacing. Mmmm, breakfast. Lots of lovely maple flavor, a nice dark amber of NYS goodness. The malt is a nice compliment because the maple is the show. Nice effort.

(Rating #3598)

Appearance : Clear amber. Not much lacing.
Aroma : Nice malt with light maple syrup. Nice spices.
Taste : Malt and peachy fruits. Finish maple syrup and crisp hops. Nice spices. Caramel.
Overall : Interesting stuff but nothing special. Nice but light maple syrup. Not much more to say. A bit boring. Why the hell is this a fruit beer ?

My Bottom Line:
Toasted malts and maple syrup coalesce while a faint wooden hop bitterness attempts to diversify the flavor profile.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A tight, creamy head of foam covers the shiny bronze amber.
-This doesn’t feel like a strong ale at all.
-This was a bit too linear for my tastes.
-The levelled residual sugars and sparkling carbonation were nicely aligned.
-While this was forgettable to me, it remains that it is yet another well-brewed product from this brewery.

Bottle.

Bomber. Translucent amber beer with nice head. Smells a bit of amber, a bit of booze. Taste is slightly medicinal to me. I don’t detect much maple, and the alcohol definitely comes through. That in itself isn’t a dealbreaker, but the medicine...disappointing.

(bottle - 22 oz) Light red color with a fizzy tan head. Aroma has a nice maple hint mixed with some caramel malts. Very inviting. Maple is very apparent at the start and blends very well with the smoothness of the amber and caramel malts. Very sweet and smooth with a wonderful maple flavor near the end. Really nice and one of the best maple beers I’ve ever drank.

growler from brewery. nice reddish color, small off-white head. the sweetness of the maple in the aroma. the taste is heavy maple and smooth in the finish. nice tasting beer. it’s a little too sweet for me to drink more than occasionally, but it went well with dinner and is a tasty change of pace i’ll pick up again.
