Pouring from their table during the festival at BCTC. Pours a caramel brown, clear, with a thin white head. Sweet malt, nutty toast on the nose. Roast and toast, big nutty malt. Lots of toast, cocoa, malt, and toast bitterness on the finish.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a translucent brown that tan head. The yeast aroma is reminiscent of Belgian ales. The flavor is well balanced with the yeast and the hops. They did a good job creating this.

Tap at the brewery: poured a dark brown that was somewhat translucent with a creamy off white head. As advertised it had the aroma of yeast strain which they wanted to highlight with a suttle hops. The taste was definetly a highlight of the yeast with the hops setting up a very balanced approach to the palate. This beer is the best of both worlds as it brings back memories of my time in Belgium and yet doesn’t overpower you with fruit. This beer will soon be an alias as the name Nebula will be retired after this year due to copyright problems.
