COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. A bit watery. BB July 2010. It’s still a good beer, so I felt it fair to rate it. 200711

Bottle. A clear-looking very dark brown beer. A creamy, finger-thick tan head sits on top. The aroma has mocha and sourness, a hint of dms and some herbal notes. Sweetness and mocha in the mouth, full-bodied and smooth, with some herbal hints. Roasted malts too. The finish is sweet and roasted. A strange one, sort of pleasant, but I don’t think I could drink more than one of these. 100327

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
