Brewed for the jubileum of "De Rode Ridder", a mediaeval fantasy figure, placed at a very real castle, Horst.

Bottle 33 cl. (Regioprodct shop Tienen) Almost clear golden color, with white to off-white head. Aroma malts, spice, coriander. Medium body. Taste start sweet, spice, coriander, little bitterness ending.

Hazy blond body with a white frothy head. Aroma of orange and hops - bit weak. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Ok balance. Not very good overall. Quite weak.

Good, just off-white head over pale golden beer. Very farmyard odours, spicy, coleslaw, sulphury. Sulphury in the taste again, spicy (coriander and rootspices). Light to medium bodied, quite slick. Not bad - a bit weird seen where it hails from. Mediaeval touch?
