Basically a thicker version of the regular bitter with deeper, sweeter caramel malts and leafier, more aromatic, leafy and earthy goldings. Still easy-drinking though. Good stuff with well-extracted flavours from quality ingredients.

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough. Colour is golden. Aroma is malty, toffee, earthy, with some hoppyness coming through. Taste is a little spice, hops, grassy with dry finish. Not bad.

Copper with a very short head. Slightly yeasty scent. Not much bitterness or sweetness at first, then a very bitter end hits you. Very very dry finish. In the mouth, lots of straw malts. Hardly any sign of hops.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Ale Wagon Leicester A golden coloured beer with a citric hop aroma. The taste is nice and light and inoffensive. A little citric hop again. Just a perfectly drinkable English session bitter .

Plain looking blond bitter with a malty aroma and a dry flavour with a slight hint of caramel. Overall a reasonable very dry beer.
