Cask conditioned at The Ale Wagon, Leicester. Dark brown with no head. Tart fruity notes from the off, some blackcurrant, slightly sourish. Not the best beer of the weekend.

Cask, Ale Wagon, Leicester. Near black with a beige foam. Aromas are melon and kiwi with roast malts, light chocolate and cream. Flavours are creamy, sweet chocolate with peppery grapefruit hops. Light but may with a peppery, spiced oranges finish. Decent.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Ale Wagon Leicester. A pitch black beer with a short-lived small beige coloured head. Very mellow for a stout, verging on a mild. There are some lightly roasted elements in both the aroma and the taste together with some fruitiness. Slightly apply in parts, but otherwise a decent drop.

Stoutish appearance with a red to orange head!!! which stains when spilt. Vanilla/sour cream aroma, with a hopped and slightly toffee like flavour which is thick on the palate. Overall an unusual beer that you would not want to spill on anything valuable.
