Cask (gravity dispense) at Ealing Beer Festival, July 2009. Definitely not the same as the HOB Best Mild. Dark red. Decent enough mild. Loads of soft caramel. Some berry fruit. Not a lot of roast. Easygoing.

Cask at Ealing beer festival 2010. A black coloured pour with no head. Fruity, caramel, roasty rather thin. Quite forgettable really.

Syrupy brown looks. Light, roasty malt and coffee flavours. Mmm nice biscuit and toffee sweetness throughout. Roasty and delicious. Smooth, oily and drinkable. Very pleasant.

A Mes rate: gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Not sure what the deal is with this one. It’s listed over at Beer Mad as being dead but was certainly alive and kicking at Ealing. Just. Red brown with no head. Slight sweet fruit with lots of caramel. Very very dull indeed. Mild by name, mild by nature. Drinkable enough though.
