A supercharged version of the standard Tom Kellys stout. Again, quite dry and roasty. The higher alcohol level doesn’t come through too strongly. Slightly vinous aroma, with lots of berry fruit. Plenty of coffee in the flavour. Powerful, but not over the top. Pretty good stuff. On tap at the Ale Wagon, Leicester.

Cask@Ale Wagton, Leicester. Dark beer with a roasted malty aroma, and a malty and very dry flavour. Overall an OK bitter and dry beer that did not leave me daft and dazed.

Cask, Ale Wagon, Leicester. Black with a small beige head. Aromas are chocolate, berries, earthy roast malts with licourice. Flavours are smooth chocolate, coffee roast malts, sweet with floral hops. Lots of fruitiness and dry on the finish. Good stuff.
