A Mes rate. Cask at the Market Porter.
Golden colour with a thin white head and lots of lace. Lots of wheat and straw plus some good bitter hops all round. Good balance, good malty base. Really good finish. Straight forward but tasty.

Draught (Air pressure???) - Ale Wagon Leicester. A slightly hazy orange coloured beer. The aroma is full of juicy orange and lemon citricity. The taste is also lovely fruits. Very highly flavoured and quite deliciously different.

Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, Borough, London .
Golden with an orange tinge to it. Hoppy and refreshing, very quaffable.

Handpulled at Wellington, Birmingham. A mild sour wheatiness to it, clear straw body, seems to be caught between two stools of wheat/lager and falls flat in the middle.

The appearance is a mixture of a lager and a pale ale,and the flavour and aroma is mainly hopped rather than wheat beerish. A nice refreshing hopped ale, hardly anything like a normal wheat beer.

This is a festival award winner in the UK. Originally I wasn’t keen on this but it has quite a refreshing sour-ness/bitterness that grew on me.
