UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Golden colour, low head. Taste of mild hops, old grains, cereals, grass and leaves. Not really fresh, not to speak of refreshing. Boring.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Deep clear amber in colour with low head. Taste of mild hops, mild malt and mild citrus fruits. Average Landbier with light bitter finish.

Clear golden yellow color with a nice white head. Aroma is grassy, some herbal hops hints. Flavor is quite sweet malt balanced with hops.

#1418 Das LandGold startet lieblich-honigtönern, um dann kräftig herb zu werden. Einfach gestrickt, lässt es sich schnörkellos trinken. Gute Süffigkeit, mir schmeckts.

50cl Fliptop bottle from bierkoning, thanks Edo! Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, red apples, sweet flowers. Flavour is red apples, very floral, almost lavender/perfume-like, light malty, light hay, sweet lemon, just light hoppy finish. Light-bodied, soft mouthfeel. It’s OK, but the sweetness is bordering on cloying.

A nice deep amber color awaits on pour, with as two finger head. Sticky lacing leaves traces on the glass as you quaff. The deep amber hints at the sharp notes of the flavor. Beautiful flavor, leaving a trace of bitterness on the tongue. Delicious and fulfilling, a nice surprise from the mixed bavarian six pack I picked up at the Edeka.

Nice clear golden with a small, frothy, film head. Aroma has green apples, malty, some slight brewing cereal and sugar. Highish carbonation, thin and watery. Flavour has mild metal, very sweet, light sugary. A bit of citric hops with some mild bitterness. Not impressive.

It’s hazy, yellow-golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of slightly herbal hops, bread, malt and toffee. The flavour is moderately sweet with a soft, almost flat mouth-feel and notes of toffee, malt, bread, sweet fruits and the finish is dry. It’s soft and very straightforward.
