(bottle, a gusher) pours a murky brown colour with a fizzy off-white head. aroma of banana, caramel, light nail polish remover, gravy and roasted wheat. flavour is mostly the same, lots of roasted wheat and caramel, with a hint of orange peel and nutmeg. medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Hefig-fruchtig in der Nase, gewürznelkig. Hefiger Antrunk, fruchtbehaftet. Danach malzröstige Einflüsse, nelkig. Im Schluß fruchtig, Erdbeere und leicht malzbitter. Gefällt mir.

Bottle. Dark brown, cloudy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty - some wheat and lightly sweetish aroma, light roasted malt with light banana. Body is light to medium, malty – some wheat and lightly sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and light bread with light banana. Finish is average malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, light bread and light banana. Lightly roasted dunkelweizen - nothing special.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Oren. Cloudy btown with a white head. Sweet and sour fruity aroma with lots of bubblegum and some caramel. Sweetish-sourish flavor with fruit esters, a bit of malt and light spiciness. Medium-bodied. A decent Dunkelweizen.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Pours a huge head. Caramel, banana and a hint of smoke in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish, tangerine and a light roast character. Not bad.

Bottle 50cl. Small off-white head, fast collapsing. Large bubble foam. Typical colour or a dunkelweizen. Taste ok but nothing very special, good average.

Bottle from pub on southside, out of date by 4 months. Aroma is malty, hints of berry fruit, blueberry, floural hop, not much wheat, very very slight hints of chocolate malt. Taste is similar, very slightly acidic, notes of a red wine vinigar. I wouldnt have imagined this to have gone sour after 4 months out of date, but this shows signs of such.

A Sim rate (Bottle at Quinns): Very sweet and malty aroma. Slightly nutty. Aroma much better than the flavour. Flavour is bland and bitter. If you have this beer, just sniff without tasting.
