2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thanks to Gaute for sharing a 500ml swing-top bottle. As Adlerkönig Das Echte Hell, 4.7 % abv. Creamy white head leaving dotted spots behind. Clear golden body. Mild noble hops and pale malts on the nose. Sheer fruity hops to the flavour profile added by a grainy touch leading to a moderate dry, fruity ending. Clean on the swallow. Satisfying Helles (Tromsø 10.11.2013).

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
500ml flip-top. Pours light gold with short lasting white head. Little aroma. Light consistency with medium carbonation. Little to taste. Dry finish. Not much to it. Maybe do as an initial thirst quencher but very bland.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Grain aroma, nothing special here.
Pours clear white-yellow with minimum white head.
Tastes light sour and light bitter.
Body is light, texture is thin and carbonation lively.
Finish is abrupt.
Overall, I didn’t enjoy this beer as I found it rather water-ish with too much carbonation.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of grain, flower, light malt and fruit. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of grain, straw, malt, flower and the finish is slightly dry.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
50 cl swing top bottle (and that’s a plus). Yellow color, rocky white head, some particles in suspension. Quiet nose. Bready malts, a bit grainy, straw, something like cardboard reminding me of supermarket canned pilseners. Taste is not exciting, minimal malts sweetness then a bland hops balance. Texture tends to be oily, thin bodied, average carbonation. Pretty neat but and easy to drink, but far from a proper Helles, average.
