Bottle at home. Very light straw colour, moderately fizzy with a thin head. Clean, fresh aroma which carries through to the taste which becomes more fruity as the beer warms ups. Quite sweet though.

High white head. Clear golden colour. Bitter-sweet aroma with apple, peach and honey notes. Fruity taste and a sweet palate. Really good for a Dortmunder.

This helles has a bit of an edge, a sharp hoppy bitterness. Pours clear golden with short foamy head. Sparse carbonation. Aroma is malt and a touch of citrus. Taste is crackers, sourdough, hops and lemon. After working all day on a hot day, this tastes pretty darn good.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of grain, flower, light malt and fruit. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of grain, straw, malt, flower and the finish is slightly dry.

0.5L bottle. Pours clear, very light pale with a rocky white head. Clean lager aromas: grass, cereal grain, resiny hops. Light sweetness at beginning with some hints of honey and light grain, finishing with mild, herby hop flavors. Light body with a thin mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, not much complexity to this beer, and on the sweeter side for a hell, but pleasant enough to drink.

Bottle from Munich airport. Clear rich amber, medium white head which dissipates to thin. Nose is grass, straw, something like lemon sherbet, lemon peel, barley malt grain buck. Taste is barley malt grain, dry lager yeast, light hay, straw and something a little fruity, like strawberry. Body is a bit watery. On the finish it’s too watery with minerals coming through, and a little bit of dry prickly hop acid.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of cooked vegetables, chalky minerals. Taste is more of the same. Astringent finish.
