Flasche mit McTapps verkostet. Durchaus gefallend und leicht mit einer feinen Süße, Malz und vielleicht gar Toffee im Geschmack. Unspektakulär, dadurch aber gerade wohl so mild und ein feiner Begleiter für den Abend.

(Bottle as " Der Hirschbräu Bayern Dunkel - Dunkles Lagerbier") Deep dark brown colour with creamy head and medium body. Nose of malt. Taste of old nuts, almonds, light pumpernickel, dark grains and malt. Quite dull and boring but drinkable.

Interesting, creamy. Very refreshing and nice features. Easy to drink and not annoying after the whole glass.

500ml swing-top bottle, as Dark Lager. Many thanks to Finn for sharing. Off-white, rocky head reduced to a thin layer. Clear golden brown body, very bright and nice to look at. Faint caramel malts to the nose. Buttery caramel malts in flavour, some hints of nuts as well. Mid-sweet, dry ending. On par with the style (at Finns in Tromsø, 06.09.2012).

Neuschwansteiner Dark Lager. Flaske 0,5l fra Kilpishalli. Dyp brun. Høyt, litt farget skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Krystallklar. Svak karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er karamell. Lite annet. KI=5.

Bottle from super market. Brown/red color, white head. Light bitter taste with toast, nuts and metallic aroma. Very light body. Faint finish with a bit of malts. Drinkable, but uninteresting and really watery.

Aroma has high malting, dry hay, caramel. Clear cola-color with beige lacing. Taste has dry caramel. Quite one-sided and short flavors. Thin, low carbonation, soft, sweet, bit roasted. Overall plain beer with not much character.

Thick brown semi lasting head. Clear dark amber color.
A bit metallic aroma with some light roasted malts.
Sweet and some bitterness. Medium to big body.

Clear copper colour with small white head.
Malty aroma. Flavour is as boring as aroma. Malt, some sugary sweetness and mild hops. Utterly uninteresting.
