0,5 lt bottle in Kosovo courtesy of a German colleague. Pours a chestnut-amber clear color, very tick beige head. Nose: dry prunes, caramel, malts. Mouth: very tasty. Besides of its 7,2% of alcohol this beer remains very easy to drink. The initial feel is amazingly balanced, the sweetness is not invasive but stays in the background providing a pleasant feel among very balanced notes of black bread, dry fruits, amber malts and a stunning carbonation. Thumbs up! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cerveja que ja diz tudo.. word beer cup, gold award 2012. Cerveja "caramelo" levemente adocicada, com media densidade de espuma, sabor e aroma adocicado, 7,2% de álcool, tipo doppel bock. Cerveja muito interessante.

Bottle from sampler pack in Munich Airport, pours dark amber with a white head, sweet taste of malt, caramel, and fruits, better than I expected from an airport sampler pack

Bottle at home. Rich chestnut brown colour with an excellent off-white, creamy head. Aroma of raisins, prunes and crystal malt. Very full flavours echoing the aroma but with a slightly cloying sweetness. Very smooth.

Tall half-litre flip-top bottle: BBD 11th Nov 14, poured (twice) into a ’Chimay’ chalice on 5th May 14. Red hue to the brew, beige head that soon turned into a wisp and collar. Dark berries, raisins and semi-sweet malts in the nose: the taste is sweeter but has the same berries and raisin feel to it’s flavours. A long way from the top Doppelbock brews but an interesting take on the style. Gets better as it warms a little, the second pour being almost like a different beer because of the temp differential.

Bottle at home. Clear dark brown pour, almost no head. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, toffee and licorice. Flavor is very sweet, slightly warming, loads of licorice and with low carbonation but a decent body.
