Very nice bottle design. Pours dark ruby red with flat head, that disappears very quickly. Smells malty fruity, with lots of plum. Starts sweet malty, slight sugary, with some plum and licorice. Goes into a malty-sugary and slight fruity. Awesome Doppelbock!!!

A very dark amber color with minimal head. Good carbonation and mouth feel. Tastes of toasted malt and sweet rye. Medium body.

Butelka 0.5l (08.02.2017). Piwo klarowne o miedzianej barwie.

A: A bronze, reddish tint of auburn. Large tanned head made a quick getaway, low amount of lacing. S: Caramel, banana and a hint of booze. T: On the sweet side, dangerously drinkable as the booze was almost undetectable, finished with a hint of slightly burnt caramel. M: Light body for the style, not much carbonation, smooth, slipped down well. O: Probably the least boozy dopplebock I’ve ever had, also managed to be subtle for the high ABV.

Dark amber color with beige head. Aroma has toasted malts, dark sugar and rye bread. Taste starts malty, just slightly sweet with caramel notes and gets bitter on the finish with more roastiness. Body is medium, a bit soft at first but leaves your mouth very dry. Quite good overall. Easy to drink with a well hidden alcohol content.

Decent without extras. Too carbonated and sharp textured, gets more drinkable with degassing and staying for a bit in the glass. Medium+ body, very few notes of nutty, cake. Sweet, maybe even too sugary forwarded in aroma and flavor.

Bottle picked up at the COOP over the weekend.. Pours pretty clear dark walnut brown with garnet highlights where the light gets through.. no real head or retention.. Deep bready toast with big boy maltiness that never verges on too sweet, though I do suspect the bottle spent too much time on a boat.. just seems a bit flat tasting across the board.
