2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very average at best German pilsener. Hardly any color with a head to match. Still better than a bud!

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very pale yellow - and a pale flavor to match. body is thin and lightly malty. The first sip had a nice hop to it, but that faded quickly and did not return. mediocre.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of the palest beers I have ever seen. Not much in the way of aroma. Nor taste for that matter. Refreshing, though. The finish is too short for my liking.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2003 A light, fizzy and refreshing drinking experience. The Saaz hops are present, but milder than in most pilseners. There's an interesting, yeasty sweetness that's beguiling, yet slightly metallic. It's like sucking on a nickel.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Extremely light golden color. Light malt
taste with butter components. Kind of
cracker-like too. Almost no bitterness.
Watery with a weak body. Just an alternative
to water to wash down food. Overall very mild
brew that approaches the blandness of a
Miller or Bud. I got this in sampler pack
at the Munich airport. It was marketed as
a Bavarian specialty and, after tasting it,
it’s way over priced. A rip off.
