PET. Aroma kiwi, lychee, exotic fruits. Mostly hoppy. Light caramel malt. Lightly hazy amber colour. Taste has a bit rough bitterness, which slaps you in the face in the first second. Citrus flavour, orange. Some malty background maltiness. Very good beer, though a little bit rough.

Hazy amber body with creamy light foam. Aroma is citrus like, have a orange bouquet that dominates the beer. In the background a lot of tropical fruits. Taste has low sweetness followed by bitterness that is not so well balanced with the aroma, little bit dull. One of the best ales I’ve had from a Czech brewer. Body is medium with low carbonation.

Keg at Hostivar. Pours Orange with a thick, Cream coloured head. Looks great.. A really interesting hop profile to it. It has the earthiness and spiciness of boring old English hops and yet some of the exiting fruity notes of American or NZ hops. I think the English hops dominate slightly. Nice malt character as well. A really surprising beer.

Light amber / orange color with rich creamy foam head, aroma of grapefruits, resin, little sour, heavily spiced, pretty inviting, medium to full body, great beginning with ripe exotic fruits, very spiced with hops lingering on palate, elegant balance of sweetness and bitterness, bread crumbs and nuts in the ending, overally superb Ale, fusion of English spiciness and American freshness... Hostivar is brewing great beers!

Točené v pivovaru v Hostivaře: Deep golden to light amber coloured, hazy with a mid-sized off-white head that leaves rings on the glass, aromatic hoppy (lemony, grapefruity) nose, still with a barnyardy touch, and a quite solid sweetish-malty background ; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering bitter and also sweet finish, aromatic hops and sweet malt detectable. Really well balanced and well drinkable Ale…
