[4797-20120920] Tap. Worcestershire sauce malt aroma. Slightly hazy, dark reddish brown body with a quick creamy light mocha head with some lacing. Funky smoked wood malt flavour is drenched in light Worcestershire sauce. Full body has a good funk accent. Tasty. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

Draught at Volo for Funk Night, Sept.20. Pours a hazy red-amber with a small semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, funky and fruity along with sour cherries and red wine. Flavour is fruity and vinous. Medium bodied. Fantastic, I loved it.

2012-09-20. Dark red-brown body with a nice tan head once roused. 3+ Odd yet nice aroma of fruity funk. 7+ Flavour is similar, modest bretty funk overtones, modest fruit, berry notes. Bit of wine? 7++ The aroma is nice, fruity vinous character, bretty overtones, mild sweetness, light tang, very mild sourness. 7+ Very smooth average plus to medium bodied. Nice, but I think I preferred the base beer overall. Volo Funk Night, Toronto

Enjoyed on tap at Volo Funk Night II. Deep brown colour with minimal head. Chocolate and rich wine aroma. Average mouth feel, Brett not prominent but its there also not substantially sour. Just a very good balance, a little roasty and chocolate, and sweet and very dangerously drinkable.
