Pretty good for style. Pours cloudy blond with good head and lacing. Aroma of malt and a little hops. A little sourness in finish, a little bitterness. On cask at volos.

Draught at Volo, Toronto
Golden color, cloudy, with low carbonation. Mild aroma of cheesy yeast. No carbonation, and very warm, the flavor is quite simple, with some yeast, and low bitterness; very light fruity touch. Imperfect.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at volo. Hazy golden/orange pour, fluffy white head. Aroma of grassy hops, with some citrus mingling in there too. Even some light yeasty, and bready malt aromas. The carbonation is soft, and the mouthfeel is a little thick. The finish is crisp, and long with a solid bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
June 18, 2011 - cask pint at Volo. Bottom of the cask. Juicy-looking orange-gold with a few floaties and protein strings - murky, but I like that; 1.5 fingers of white pillowy head. Smells ... mild; wheaty, light fresh cereal grain - timothy or fresh hay - light citrus and grassy - crisp and slightly sweet (pear and peach) - just the ticket for a summer afternoon (7+). Taste - follows right on, hardly any alcohol (like 3.5%) - again, quenching, clean, crisp and 7+ - Fairly thick and a bit still, but hey, bottom of the cask, not sour or acidic, just finishes fast and juicy, maybe a bit dry, in a good way, a light wheaty aftertaste - damn this was a good summer pint, well done Ralph & Co.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[3758-20110618] Tap. Yeasty lightly smoked leaf notes in the aroma. Hazy, golden yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Mild cardboardy yeast flavour has a hint of lemon butter. Medium body is on the light side. Interesting, good balance of everything. (6/4/7/4-/13) 3.5

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at House Ales Launch Party, Volo. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold with a small lasting frothy off-white head. Mild aroma of buttery UK hops, some grain, sweet malt and fruit. Flavour’s a bit watery and a touch sweet, mainly follows the aroma with a light bitter finish. Average bodied. I’m not loving it, it’s a personal preference, it’s well made but it’s just not a style of beer I much care for.
