cask days 2013 @ beau’s oktoberfest. unclear golden pour with a small white cap. biscuity malts, touch of caramel - well dosed, pepper, mangoes and fresh fruitiness - juiciness. moderate to low carbonation, light body - oily, dry peppery-piney-ciitrusy finish. very nice.

sudomorph (499) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 20, 2013
On tap at Bellwoods. Poured a translucent orange with a thin, slightly off-white head. Aroma is robust with notes of tropical fruit. Taste is bitter with a notes of resin and pine on the finish. Medium body with a medium, frothy carbonation. A bit oily in the mouth. I’m really liking this. Big bitter with a solid, resin/pine taste to go with it. Tastes bigger than 6.5%. Very well done. Would order again!

Tap at BarVolo. A pretty damn good IPA. Amber body, attractive. Piney aroma. Nice bitterness, some sweetness and nuttiness but nice West coast style IPA. Fabulous.

Flavor is mild creamy nicely malty a bit caramel on top, citrucy piny fruity good bitterness mates well with the rest of the flavors not taking over. Excellent session beer.

Pours wonderfully. Cloudy amber with great head and complex lacing. Smells a little fruity, a little floal and a little hoppy. Average aroma profile. Palate is OK. A little bitterness in the aftertaste. Some malt as well. On cask at volos.

Glouglouburp (5938) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 8, 2012
In short: A refreshing, clean and flavorful fruity blond IPA. Very good
How: Gravity cask at Benelux, Montreal
The look: Cloudy dark blond body topped by a persistent small white head
In long: Nose is fruity “trendy” new breed of hops with a focus on tropical fruits, apricots and grapefruits. Taste is bready malts, a bit of caramel and honey, plenty of hops-induced fruity flavors with the usual suspects in the tropical fruits & citrusy fruits family. Medium level is medium, clean, not resinous, refreshing, extremely easy to drink. A nice beer. After blind tasting over a dozen cask IPAs I decided to have a full serving of this one, I really liked it, and I don’t wanna brag but when I drink a lot at my local pubs I can pull some special sexy moves that can make any straight women within a 50 feet radius consider at least briefly lesbianism as a way of life.

neongolden (373) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 21, 2012
(Draught sample at Bryden’s, Toronto, Sept 21 2012) Poured a clear golden amber with a thin, vanishing white head. Aroma fairly sweet, marmalade orange and caramel malt with some tropical fruit behind and faint pine. Flavour a bit less fruit-forward, some pit fruit and a bunch of sweet malt with fairly pine and earth bitterness to finish, doesn’t leave much aftertaste. Medium body, medium carbonation. Smells nice but a little too sugary for me, and doesn’t quite follow it up on the palate either. A good IPA, but not a fave.
