Looks pretty unappetising, clear orange with basically no head - what foam is there disappeared almost instantly. Light citrus, hoppy aroma. Flavour is a bit sweet, little else going on. Not impressed.

Pours clear and golden with a moderate white head. Aroma of caramel malt and some citrus hops. Flavour of the same. Bland.

Cask by handpump at State Bar, Glasgow (26 May 12) - clear golden ale, medium white head, caramel malt aroma, good temperature, bit of caramel, bland, very easy to drink

Pale amber, grapefruit and lemon cheesecake nose, bit of crystal malt, touch of bitterness, nice enough.

Clear deep golden colour with tiny white head. Weak malty aroma. Mild malty flavour with notes of hops. Very mild brew.

First tasted this at the Fox & Hounds, Houston in January 1998. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale amber in colour with a thick creamy white head. Light lemon peel note in the short aroma. Thin watery mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a slight digestive biscuit note with citric fruit notes of lemon and kiwi fruit. Dusty floral hops add a zesty fruit note to the short aftertaste. Finish is slightly on the bitter side with pithy lemon peel notes evident. An ok session bitter but not that outstanding to be honest.

Cask at Malt and Hops. Smells of nothing. Tastes of virtually nothing. Instantly forgotten.

Cask conditioned at The Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Gold with white head. Light, easy beer with a thinnish perfumed hop note, some lemon on a light biscuity body. Quite drinkable, not bad.

On cask at The Golden Rule. Blonde ale with a thin white head. Yeasty, malt aroma. Some caramel malt and yeast flavour. Not bad.
