Cask (handpump) @ Cask and Barrel, 115 Broughton Street, Edinburgh EH1 3RZ, Scotland.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus - lemon. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090409]

[Cask - GBBF 2003] A slightly unclear yellow beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is perfumated sweet with flowery notes. The flavor is rather sweet, a little cask flat with undistintable fruit and flower notes. An OK beer but not anything special.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small, creamy and dense head. Aroma is mild butterish and malty. Sweet, slight fruity and mild citric. Bitter, lingering fruity and crisp hoppy. Ends dry and medium bitter.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Clear golden coloured with a small white head, Fruity aroma of hops and grass with notes of berries. Fruity flavour of hops, grass and grape fruits. Dry hoppy finish.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2007 Pale yellow coloured ale, light fresh hop, light clean fresh citrus hop flavour .
Tk 2 Cask Winstons Edinburgh ... Pale yellow/orange ... light fruity sherbert hop nose ... light citric hop quite sharp ... little drying.

Bottled bright from Kent BF. Very good condition considering it was 2 days old in my bottle. Bit of sediment in bottle too. Hazy gold, lasting off white head. Some decent grapefruit hop aroma. It’s a citrusy bitter, bit on minerality, well balanced and rather drinkable. Little bit biscuity, maybe a tad stale aroma. But still the beer is in good nick. Citrusy, tangy hoppy finish. Fine.

Clear brown beer. Crisp palate. Nicely joined up beer. Dark bitter toffee and some hop fruit.

Cask@Mathers Bar, Edinburgh. Golden color, small creamy white head. Lemony hoppy nose. Mildish lemony hoppy flavor, a bit earthy and grassy. Leaves honey sweet aftertaste. Lacking malty backbone to be strong enough for decent session ale.

1. Cask Stillage at the Memorial Hall, Northwich 21/09/2001 Golden coloured pale and sweet. Hop finish. 2. Cask Stillage at the Mill At The Pier, Wigan 09/03/2002 Golden coloured and slightly fruity. Dry hop finish.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold colour with slight head. Served very cold, slightly cloudy. Sharp harsh tinny flavour on a thin malty background. Some citrus hops and could be tangy. Improved on warming.
