Commercial Description:
Bottle; Filtered.
Originally called St Peters Well but renamed, apparently, because of objections from St Peters Brewery
When Christianity reached the pagan Scottish Celts in the 5th Century they honoured St Peter by naming an ancient healing well for him in Houston. The mystical magic of this well is reflected in the rich golden colour, fruity flavour and full hop aroma of this light and refreshing ale.

A pleasant golden ale with a well rounded if mundane flavour.Nothing else to say about it except that this is one of the more average offerings from the Scotish micro scene.

Bottled, now called just ’Peter’s Well’. Orange with rich head. Flowery aroma. Dry and drinkable with moderately bitter finish. Plain, but not dull.

No head at all, almost no carbonation. Is quite bitter in the aftertaste. Not very impressed. Drank it from a bottle.
