On cask at the Alexander Graham Bell. Pours an amber colour with a thick beige head. Aroma of pine, caramel, coffee and treacle. Nice roasted malt flavour with piney hops, yeast and biscuity notes also. Nicely bitter with a dry finish. Mild carbonation. OK.

Cask @ Henglers Circus, JDW. Amber colour, creamy dense off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, hint of citrus, a bit non-descript .Flavour is malty and citrus upfront, followed by dry biscuit. Fairly bitter. Fruity and dry finish.
