fata2683 (218), APO, New York, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle, pours a deep carmel with a very nice and tall off white head. Aroma is light and bready. Almost smells like an apple cinnamon muffin. Sweet with a little spice. Taste is quite boring. A very thin mouth starts lightly sweet with a light lemon flavor that ends dry with a faint earthy sour/bitterness. This stuff looked and smelled so good, but it failed to deliver. heemer77 (3827), Savannah, Missouri, USA Oct 27, 2008 Nice medium copper colored body with a thin light khaki head on top. The aroma has some rich raisins along with some milk chocolate. There is also a little bit of earthy herbs like rosemary. The taste has some light cinnamon and thyme notes. There is a refined white sugar sweetness. It has a little bit of the character of flat Sprite. Decent to drink with lively carbonation in the mouth feel. JK54B (399), Finland Oct 6, 2008 A bottle tatsed at Kaunis Kampela. White thin but lasting head. Pale hazy golden colour. Soft taste. Not too sweet. Only thing is lack of tatste of 12 herbs? ALLOVATE (1127), Perth, Australia Sep 26, 2008 A strange random beer tasted back in November ’07, so this ratings from notes alone.<br />
‘Chalice, just on cold. Auburn copper, hazy. Very fine carbonation. 1”, lasting, bubbly but tight off-white. Light lacework. Seaweed, dank liquor and rusted cooper rings off an old barrel, soft touch of sautéed mushrooms late. Honey, rust, quite yeasty, a very subdued toasted malt flavour along with the honey. Some weak table wine (Portuguese?), fudge toffee, alcohol is masked. Though the body is extremely thin it purports something bigger. Not much length, bar notes of rust and tannic tea.’ (25cL, BBE 06/09, Int’l Beer Store, W. Leederville)
