A bottle tatsed at Kaunis Kampela. White thin but lasting head. Pale hazy golden colour. Soft taste. Not too sweet. Only thing is lack of tatste of 12 herbs?

A strange random beer tasted back in November ’07, so this ratings from notes alone.
‘Chalice, just on cold. Auburn copper, hazy. Very fine carbonation. 1”, lasting, bubbly but tight off-white. Light lacework. Seaweed, dank liquor and rusted cooper rings off an old barrel, soft touch of sautéed mushrooms late. Honey, rust, quite yeasty, a very subdued toasted malt flavour along with the honey. Some weak table wine (Portuguese?), fudge toffee, alcohol is masked. Though the body is extremely thin it purports something bigger. Not much length, bar notes of rust and tannic tea.’ (25cL, BBE 06/09, Int’l Beer Store, W. Leederville)

250ml bottle (Kaunis Kampela, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks)
Sweet fruity aroma, not big. Hazy orange, small tight head. Fizzy carbonation. Slightly watery, but not weak - refreshing. Light grainy base, but pleasant sticky raw hops too. Well balanced. Don’t drink too cold, this really needs to warm to release its full aroma and flavour.
