Bottled from Aachen. Clear amber color with average frothy off-white head with layered lacing. Malty nose. Aroma of bitter hops, some fruity notes and malt. Flavor is malty, with caramel. Ends with nice hoppy bitter. It is a bit too watery off-the-beaten-track brew.

Not bad, not actually a fan of skunky, bitter beers. I liked this one more than most due to its character. It claims its brewed with bitter herbs and 4 malts. It plays together well. Everything in the bottle gets along and works in unison but subtlty is its strong point with an extra hint of herb, bread, hay and socks on the palate, but nice. Overall I liked it and I dont know why. It took a minute and a few swigs to get into it, but its got something, not bad at all. I enjoyed it.

500ml Bottle. Pours a nice copper brown color with medium head. Aroma was very nice - sweet, floral, and herbal. Taste was mostly sweet malts with a light herbal hop finish, although on the whole this was a disappointingly weak beer. Very light with decent carbonation, the palate was surprising for something that’s supposed to be in the Altbier realm. Also had a weak hop profile compared to other Alt’s.

Draft version poured with a creamy white head over a brilliant copper beer. A session beer, it was lighter in body than the taste implies. German malt sweetness nicely balanced by spicy noble hops.

Dark gold-brown colour, decent head. Aroma of grains and hops, but soft and hard to pick up. Taste is dark bread, malt, some hops; medium-dry finish. It’s all right, but not outstanding.

Sampled at Epcot Center. Amber brown pour. Sweet malty nose with touches of noble hops. Sweet body, not much character.

2010 Walt Disney World food and wine festival at Epcot. Aroma malt and some light grass. Appearance dark copper and clear with a frothy head. Taste roasted malt and some mellow spiced hops. Palate medium mouth feel with a chaulky finish.
